Select "Single File Processing" tab at the top of the window.
Step 1. Click the "Source Files Directory" button, and select the source directory.
Step 2. Click the "Input File" button, and choose your AVI file.
Step 3. Choose your Output File (AC3).
Step 4. At the right part -- select bitrate and amount of channels. Here you have three options: (1) encode only 2 audio channels (stereo), (2) transform (upmix) stereo audio from AVI with 2 channels into audio file with 6 channels (it is called 5.1 AC3), (3) the last option is a rare case (if you AVI audio already has 5.1 channels then you can directly encode 5.1 AC3 file).
Step 5. Click the "Process Single File" button.
