This software can recognize and convert only instrumental music styles. It means, music without voices. And it works in the following way: 1) You specify the musical wav file 2) A theoretical TONE INSTRUMENT wav file that is similar to the instruments in the music 3) Choose the name of a MIDI file and click to convert.
The software already contains several tone files, however you can specify your own instrument.

Step 2. Please note, this tool can read only WAV files (22Khz or 44kHz PCM format). If you want to convert only audio fragment, or if you have MPEG/AVI video clip with music that you want to convert into MIDI Format, or MP3/OGG/WMA files, then try to use Vidmex as an intermediate converter. - Install and launch Vidmex. Next, click File -> Add File(s)... on the Playlist menu and add your video/audio file with music.
- Select your video/audio file in playlist and press A hot key (or use menu Operation -> Extract Audio).
- Enter the new filename and choose the destination folder. Select WAV as an Output Format. Click Next.
- Choose PCM, select Stereo 44Khz or 22Khz and click Next.

Step 3. Install and launch Amazing MIDI. Click Start -> Program Files -> Amazing MIDI.

Step 5. Click File -> Specify Input File.... Choose your WAV file with music.
Step 6. Click File -> Specify Output File.... Choose MIDI file name.
Step 7. Click Transcribe -> Transcribe.... The window with settings will appear.
Step 8. It is recommended to set: Minimum Analysis = -70Db , Minimum Relative = -10Db , Minimum Note Length = 6. In any case, we suggest you to try to experiment several times.
