Where to get adpcm codec?

AVI files may include ADPCM audio stream encoded with one of the ADPCM codecs. You can use GSpot tool to get information about the types of codecs in your media files. If you have problems with ADPCM audio playback (for example, in AVI files), then you must reinstall default codecs.

Usually, ADPCM codec must be present on your Windows system, it is a part of the standard system build. Incompatibilities are known to exist with some of the components in third-party codecs that can cause serious playback issues. Use caution when installing unknown multimedia software on the Internet. Before installing any digital media components, set a system restore point. The restore point enables you to return to your original system configuration, if necessary.
