You can also download the samples from the Internet - from the AVS Media web site. To do that click the Sample sounds from internet link in the Welcome to AVS Music Mix window. After that you should enter the file name for your project and set it's location. click the Browse... button to open the standard windows explorer menu and select the project location. After you are done, click Finish button to finish creating a project. Please take into account that you will get an info message in case a project with the name you typed already exists.
The interface of AVS Music Mix application could be metaphorically divided into five parts. They are:
AVS Music Mix has an easy-to-use working area which has a set of buttons to introduce various effects and modify their parameters. AVS Music Mix allows you to apply one or several audio tracks/loops to your project. For convenience of use you can change the sequence of audio reflection or resize them at the Timeline. It's possible to create one track using fragments from several tracks. For that use drag-and-drop method. Please note how the way of displaying the whole audio track differs from the trimmed one.
Timeline toolbar allows to perform tasks such as introducing the limits of effect, boundaries of fade-in and fade-out areas, zooming in or out on details of your media.
At each audio track reflected at the Timeline you can see an envelope that depicts the volume control. You can regulate it differently according to your project's details. To add a control point to the envelope, double-click within the envelope line (where the mouse cursor changes to a hand) and drag the control point to the location where you want it.
To move a point on the envelope, click and hold the point and drag it to a new location. Note that in case you move the point more than 20 pixels over the track line up or down, the point will be deleted. You can use this feature to create a smooth transition between two tracks. When the mouse cursor is located over a point, you will see it change from an arrow to a rhombus. To select a part of your project, click the left mouse button and drag the slider along the navigation line. The selected area will be highlighted in gray.
While working and when your project is ready it might be necessary to preview the result. STEP 2: Previewing the result and saving file
It will be absolutely necessary to preview as the whole project as well as the parts of your mixing. You can do it with the help of Timeline Player Toolbar. It consists of 4 buttons. See the detailed description of each button in the table below:
If you are satisfied with the result, you can save the file into one of the supported formats clicking the Save/Upload>> button. The formats selection window will pop up:
Please note that it is possible to specify Fine tuning parameters for MP3 format clicking the Advanced... button. If you would like to upload the created audio to your mobile phone, make sure that it supports the format that you have selected, and click the Upload>> button. The AVS Mobile Uploader will be launched to let you upload the audio file to your mobile phone. However you can additionally edit your created ringtone with the help of the AVS Ringtone Maker program. STEP 3: Using AVS Ringtone Maker
After clicking the Make ringtone/realtone link in AVS Audio Tools Manager AVS Ringtone Maker starts with the main window.
You can use the Top Toolbar buttons to edit the audio file. The Top Toolbar is placed in the upper part of the AVS Ringtone Maker:

After you double-click the selected file you can start editing it right away. If you want to apply the effects to a part of the file you need to select that specific part with your mouse. If you want to apply the effects to the whole file you might select the whole file timeline or leave everything unselected. To facilitate your control of the modifications you can use the following player buttons:

Press the Mobile overview button to see the table representing different mobile devices and formats, supported by them. To change the folder where the file is going to be stored press
the After you choose the format of the file and press the Upload >> button, the file will be saved and the AVS Mobile Uploader will be launched to begin the uploading process. STEP 4: Uploading file to mobile
At Step 1 of AVS Mobile Uploader you need to select the type of device you would like to upload your media file to:
If you know for sure what type of the mobile device you are using you can check one of the check-boxes - Bluetooth, Infrared or Flash, so that the AVS Mobile Uploader could recognize the specific type of the mobile device. If you are not sure what type of communication your device uses or you would like to see all the devices connected to your personal computer, you can check the All Devices check-box to receive the complete list of connected devices. Press Find Devices button to start searching for the available mobile devices. After that you should select one of the devices to which you would like to upload your media files using your left mouse button and press the Next >> button to go to Step 2. Step Two will show you the media files that has been selected to be uploaded to your mobile device.
Using the Add File(s) and Add Folder buttons you can also add other files to upload them to your mobile phone. After you are satisfied with the list of the media files that you would like to send to the mobile device press the Upload >> button to start the uploading process. The duration of the upload process depends on the number of media files selected, their size and the type of the communication used between the personal computer and the mobile device selected in Step One. If you decide to change the device to upload your files to, press the << Previous button to return to Step One. To close the window and finish the work with the AVS Mobile Uploader press the Close button. |
