There's no doubt, that many users can meet the necessity of adding text information in your video. It's very nice to have the date of shooting your video displayed, or include funny or serious comments, insert the title of your video clip and, probably, subtitles. Run AVS Video Tools. In our example we will explain you how to insert the shooting date and the event name, lets say, in the right hand lower corner. For that we will use the Text effect. The Text effect allows you to include any message to your video positioning it anyplace in the screen area. |

First, it's necessary to start the AVS Video Converter and open our input file. After that click the Edit button to open the Edit Input File(s) window.
1. To apply the text effect click Add button at the effects toolbar. After that select Draw->Text
2. Select the text properties following the menu and type in the text you want to be seen in your movie. In our example we want the following text: "09/06/2005 Kitten's birthday 1 month old" , we should put it in the right lower corner of the screen and we also want the white font. So, first of all, we should type our text in the Text box:
After that it's time to set the Font color. Click the button at the Font box and Select Font window will appear. Here in the Color drop-down combo box select White color.
Now it's time to set text position. It's easier to set it using the Preview window. Simply drag the text square to the necessary position and drop it.

After all do not forget to set fade-in and fade-out area. Click Start Preview button and enjoy your movie!
