How can I make an MPEG4 compatible CD (DivX or XviD)?

If you have a standalone home CD/DVD player that supports MPEG-4, you need video CD in MPEG4 (DivX or Xvid) format. AVS Video Converter allows to create MPEG-4 compatible CDs.

Step 1.  Launch AVS Video Converter. Click "Browse...", select video files that you want to convert and click "Open".



Note: if your input video is DVD, then select VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO file.

Step 2.  Click "Formats", then click "To AVI".

Select Profile: "Video: MPEG-4 (DivX, Xvid), 768 kbps; Audio: MP3, 96 kbps". You can use the "Advanced >>" button to set custom parameters.



Step 3.  Click the second "Browse..." button and select output path (where to save converted files).

Step 4.  Click "Convert Now!".

Step 5.  At the end of the conversion process, insert a blank CD (R) or CD (RW) disc. Find the directory that you specified in Step 3. Right-click the converted AVI file, select "Send To..." and click "AVS Video Burner".



Step 6.  Select your CD/DVD drive, and click "Start Burning!". Wait several minutes.

Done! Your MPEG-4 (Xvid/DivX) CD is ready!
