Step 2. Add the video files you are going to convert: On the Toolbar click the + Video button. Choose and open your video files. Files will be automatically selected. Click OK.
The list of opened files displays video files added for convertion and their statuses. Files with selected checkboxes will be converted. Unmark checkboxes of the files which you don't want to convert. Note: To select consecutive files or folders, click the first item, press and hold down SHIFT, and then click the last item. To select nonconsecutive files or folders, press and hold down CTRL, and then click each item. To remove files/folders from the list: select files/folders and press
To clear the list (remove all files): on the Toolbar choose File and then click Clear. Note: when you remove files from the list, you do not delete them from your computer! Keyboard shortcuts: Add files - CTRL+A Remove files - CTRL+R Clear the list - ALT+R Step 3. In the list of output formats select 'iPod (320*240)'
Choose 'iPod (320*240)' to convert video for iPod with the resolution 320*240. Choose 'iPod 5G (640*480)' to convert video for new 30G/80G video iPod, MPEG-4 with the resolution 640*480 pixels. Choose 'Audio Only: MP3 Higher Quality' to extract audio tracks from your videos. Step 4. Select an output directory. Output directory settings allow the user to select an output directory where converted files will be saved. Click to select a directory.Select Same as input directory to save converted files into the source folder. Select Overwrite existing files to replace existing files with the converted ones. Select Show output directory when done to open the output folder upon completion of conversion.
Step 5. Press Convert.
Your video files will be converted to iPod format, and saved saved as MP4 to the specified directory. Finally, go to the directory, find the converted video files ( .mp4), and transfer/copy them to iPod.
Done! You have converted your video files to iPod. Enjoy!
If you convert your videos using the 'iPod 5G (640*480)' preset, then you can store your movies on iPod and watch them any time on the habitual TV screen. Now you can move the slider to jump to the selected frame (Seek slider indicates the playback progress of the current video)
Click the Stop button
Next, click menu File -> Save Current Frame... The feature allows to create images and photos, extracting exact frames from video. To choose a frame you want to save, you can: stop previewing video at the right moment, or use the slider to jump from one part of video to another, or use control buttons to move on to the nearest frames. Finally, choose the image format from the drop-down list: BMP, JPG, GIF, TIFF, PCX, WMF, EMF, TGA, PNG formats are supported. And enter filename... Click Ok. Done! You have extracted an image from video and saved to the specified folder. |
