How to merge different video files and convert the resulting file to iPod ? COMMERCIAL SOLUTION

With DVD to iPod you can merge multiple AVI, MPEG (MPG), MP4, VOB, DVD, MOV or WMV/ASF (Window Media) files into a single longer movie file. You can join together as many files in any format as you need. All you have to do is to add file to the list and press 'Join'.








Step 1. Install DVD to iPod. Start DVD to iPod.
 






Step 2. Add the video files you are going to convert:

On the Toolbar click the + Video button.

Choose and open your video files.

Files will be automatically selected. Click OK.





The list of opened files displays video files added for joining and their statuses.

Files with selected checkboxes will be merged. Unmark checkboxes of the files which you don't want to merge.

Note:
To select consecutive files or folders, click the first item, press and hold down SHIFT, and then click the last item.
To select nonconsecutive files or folders, press and hold down CTRL, and then click each item.

To remove files/folders from the list: select files/folders and press

To clear the list (remove all files): on the Toolbar choose File and then click Clear.

Note: when you remove files from the list, you do not delete them from your computer!

Keyboard shortcuts:
Add files - CTRL+A
Remove files - CTRL+R
Clear the list - ALT+R

Step 3. In the list of output formats select 'iPod (320*240)'





Choose 'iPod (320*240)' to join videos for iPod with the resolution 320*240.
Choose 'iPod 5G (640*480)' to join videos for new 30G/80G video iPod, MPEG-4 with the resolution 640*480 pixels.
Choose 'Audio Only: MP3 Higher Quality' to join videos, and extract audio

Step 4. Select an output directory.

Output directory settings allow the user to select an output directory where the merged file will be saved.

Click to select a directory.
Select Same as input directory to save the merged file into the source folder.
Select Overwrite existing files to replace existing files with the merged file.
Select Show output directory when done to open the output folder upon completion of joining.








Step 5. Press Join.





Your video files will be merged, converted to iPod format, and saved saved as MP4 into the specified directory.

Finally, go to the directory, find the resulting video file ( .mp4), and transfer/copy it to iPod.





Done. Congratulations!
